A few hamburgers and sausages from our favorite farmers, so that other people could taste the difference. A few jars off our shelves – butternut squash chutney and bruschetta topping – plus hummus and veggies. What do you do with the scapes? We haven’t been too creative with them yet, but we did make pesto.

We had less variety at our tiny farmers market in Webster, NY yesterday, but still took home honey, grass-fed beef, cherries, blueberries, & raspberries. I tried garlic scapes for the first time this summer as we are participating in a CSA and they are great. What are you cooking for the Fourth?
