This week we got:

Carrots Red Russian Kale Sweet Potatoes Kohlrabi Rutabaga Butternut Squash Red Onions Daikon Radish Bok Choy Eggs

Lunch yesterday was carrots, daikon radish, and homemade sourdough olive bread dipped in hummus. Delish!

Dark Days Challenge Week 1: How to Make Potato Gnocchi

To motivate ourselves through the winter, we have joined the Dark Days Challenge, which asks that we cook one meal a week focused on SOLE ingredients (sustainable, organic, local, and ethical). We’re back!

We’ve had a few changes over the last month…

(1) We moved to Somerville, MA (greater Boston area). We’re still getting settled in and figuring out the local food scene, but we’re loving it so far. We signed up for a winter CSA with Red Fire Farm, so we’ll post on that every other week when we get our share.
